My first career(quarry), to the antipodes of the art, has never allowed me some expression in this domain. The desire was nevertheless there, since my youngest childhood, and asked only to express itself.
The occasion appeared, in 1995, during a professional reorientation. This year, I cross (exceed) the door of a small workshop (studio) of sculpture near Montpelier.
The learning however is short ( 2 months), because a new post within a big company takes away me very often, too often, from this wet clay in which I like pushing my hands.
In spite of my work during day, I learn little by little to reserve a part (party) of my evenings and my leisure activities for this therapeutic act that is the sculpture. I settle down a small workshop(studio) of fortune within the apartment. Working bases being acquired, comes the experience(experiment).
And so my sculptures, according to the spare time, originate and settle down, little by little, in all the corners(places) and the hidden recesses of the house.
As in 1995 for the small workshop(studio) of Celleneuve, I need the second click to dare to reveal to the public my creations. One day of October, 2006, some sculptures thus leave their anonymous place to be exposed (explained) to the amateurs. First lounge (show).
Fort of the successful testimonies, I renew the experience (experiment); other lounges (shows), other creations.
Of a rather introvert temperament, I shall not make for you big eulogies of my work, a listing of the prices (prizes) awarded during lounges (shows) or during galleries there having opened me their doors.
It is possible that not be sold can carry (wear) damage in the gratitude (recognition) of its work. I divert (hijack) a little this problem with this site, my only ambition today being to make discover my work through this enriched virtual gallery, according to the spare time, to the useful links. I so wish that all, sculptors, amateurs or professionals, you do not get lost in endless searches (researches) to find.
Besides, this site will have reached (affected) its objective only if it becomes interactive. I thus encourage you to announce me your notices, comments, information, (contact)
Finally, for the artists in herb or confirmed who would have certain affinities with my creations, I shall say to them first of all one thank you for the appreciation of those this, but also, no copy.
Reflect, to show mentally such shape, such expression, to give birth to this preliminary work require(demand) an important personal investment. He(it) is thus very disheartening to see his (its) "cloned" creations. On this subject, I send back (dismiss) to the texts of legislation on the copyright.
