biographie
My initial career unrolled ways far away from arts and never let me a chance to express myself in this register. Nevertheless the desire was there from childhood, just waiting for the right time. The opportunity occurred in 1995 during a career move. I happen to enter into a small sculpture workshop nearby Montpellier and I was totally seduced.
My apprenticeship was however very short. My new position keeping me very busy and a way from this wet clay material I enjoy so much to feel and squeeze between my hands.Despite my busy daily schedule, I slowly managed to devote most of my spare time to this healing and regenerating activity sculpture. I created a workshop area within my apartment.
Basic knowledge being acquired, experience and know how came along. As you said “practice makes it perfect”. I quickly was overcome by my art work. Sculptures were sitting all over my place.By October 2006 I had the opportunity to present my work to the public in a showroom. This first show was a success and other shows went on with new creations.Being rather introvert I am not going to go through larges extend to describe and self praise my craftsmanship.
Either list my awards or show successful participation. Not over selling my self may be damageable to my work recognition.
I however tried to get around this hypothetical problem by creating this web site.
I hope this virtual gallery will became an exchange spot enabling me to improve my craftsmanship and
serve you better.
I hope everybody will find it user friendly enough to avoid endless research.
Your comments and suggestions are welcome (contact).but not least, to all those who enjoyed my art work and feels strong affinities with it I warmly thanks you all.
I would appreciate your respecting to my hard labor by not copying it.is a long term investment requiring a lot of research and personal investment that it is really
heartbreaking to see ones art work «cloned».
I strongly recommend you to go back to the texts of legislation on the copyright.
Looking forward to your comments.
Very truly yours.Denis
